NORTH MANCHESTER — Roger William Moore, 80, North Manchester, died at 7:30 a.m. Aug. 15, 2017, at his home.
He was born June 12, 1937, in Cleveland, Ohio, to William and Dorothy Kemmerer Moore.
Roger was a 1957 Central High School graduate. He married Judith Leonhard on May 18, 1958, in North Manchester.
Roger and Judy own and operate The Hardware Store, North Manchester, the former Coast-to-Coast Hardware Store they purchased from his parents in 1970. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and was a Purdue University fan.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Moore, and daughter, Melissa (Jeff) Werner, both of North Manchester; nephews and nieces: Bret (Shari) Deardorff, Jill (Roland) Rohrer, Bill (Denise) Leonhard and Stephanie (Andy) Castleman; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joyce Deardorff.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 18, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, 207 W. Main St., North Manchester. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Servia.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
