Robert Waldo Earnhart, 88, died July 19, 2009, in Malvern, Pa., where he resided more than 60 years.
He was born June 27, 1921, near Pierceton, to Carl and Cleo Earnhart. On Dec. 14, 1946, he married Ruth Baker, who resides in Malvern.
He was a 1939 Pierceton High School graduate. He joined the Coast Guard and was discharged March 21, 1946.
Also surviving are a son, Bobby, at home; a daughter, Nancy (and spouse Peter) Morrill, New York; a granddaughter; a sister, Margaret Menzie, Pierceton; and a brother, Carl, Goshen.
