Robert C. Leiter, 69, of Warsaw, went home to be with the Lord at 12:35 a.m. Dec. 21, 2007, in his residence.
He was born Sept. 14, 1938, in Kosciusko County, to Eugene and Bernice Stiffler Leiter. On April 21, 1961, he married Beverly Ann Creighton, who survives.
He was owner/broker of Leiter Real Estate for 25 years and worked at R.R. Donnelley & Sons for 25 years. He was a member of Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, where he taught children's Sunday School for more than 15 years, helped with Upward Basketball and was a member of the Kosciusko Board of Realtors. He was an exemplary model and example to his family each day of his life.
Also surviving are two daughters, Kim (and spouse Joe) Moore and Kelly (and spouse Sean) Mills, all of Warsaw; five grandchildren, Travis, Adam and Nick Moore and Tanner and Madison Mills; two sisters, Janet Hoskinson, Florida, and Joyce LaMontague, Saudi Arabia; and a brother, Don Leiter, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, with Pastor Bruce Barlow officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
