BREMEN - Robert B. Kolbe, 79, Bremen, died Nov. 6, 2008, in Community Hospital of Bremen, from leukemia.
He was born May 15, 1929, in Clearfield, Pa., to Edgar and Beulah Lingle Kolbe. On Aug. 6, 1952, he married Catherine Ogden, who died Oct. 15, 1995. On Feb. 27, 1999, he married Jayne Marlene Huppert, who survives in Bremen.
Also surviving are a daughter, Joanne (and spouse David O.) Kolbe Taylor, Warsaw; two sons, including David (and spouse Kathy) Kolbe, Warsaw; two stepsons; a brother; three sisters; 14 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Salem United Methodist Church, Bremen, with Pastor Kevin Miller officiating. Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery with military graveside services.
Calling is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to services Monday at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. A masonic service begins at 6 p.m.
