Rita J. Gayheart

MENTONE – Rita J. Gayheart, 55, Warsaw, died unexpectedly at 11 a.m. Dec. 29, 2014, in Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City. She was born Sept. 29, 1959, in Warsaw, to Leona Darlene Reed. She had worked at DePuy Orthopaedics/Johnson & Johnson of Warsaw for 25 years. She was very artistic. She enjoyed painting, crafts, sewing and all other seamstress work. She loved her grandchildren dearly. Surviving are four daughters: Donnelle Reed, Claypool; Rachelle Gayheart, Cromwell; Denise Gayheart, Warsaw; Parthenia (and spouse Brian) Mosier, Warsaw; 10 grandchildren; a sister, Rhonda (and spouse Dana) Pyle, Columbus, Ohio; and a brother, Robin (and spouse Tina) Reed, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Rusty Reed and Billy Moore. Services were at 11 a.m. today at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone, with Pastor Dean Ealey officiating. Burial was in Harrison Center Cemetery, Etna Green. ***** Memorials to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
