Riley Radio Days, the annual radio fundraising program on Classic Hits 107.3 WRSW for the KC Riley Kids Fund and Riley Hospital for Children has been postponed indefinitely, according to a news release from Kensington Digital Media of Indiana.
Morning Show Host Kris Lake, along with KC Riley Kids Fund co-founder Mike Bergen, made the announcement on the air Wednesday morning.
"Out of an abundance of caution, in addition to the various restrictions on public gatherings, we have made the extremely difficult decision to postpone Riley Radio Days.
“This decision was not made in haste. Much conversation was held between WRSW team members, members of the Kosciusko County Community Foundation and KC Riley Kids Fund founders Mike Bergen and Alan Alderfer.
“It is our full intention and hope that we will hold this event at a future date, once we mutually feel like a sense of normalcy has returned to our world. We appreciate the support and understanding while we tread through this trying and unprecedented time.
“And, finally, we will not forget the kids of Riley and we vow to continue to help them in any way we can,” the release states.
