Have you ever seen so much hatred being spread by the "far left-wing liberals"? Even my Democrat friends (the ones who still believe in John Kennedy politics) shake their heads.
Instead of reading actual history, it is obvious that some repeat these so-called facts from far-left Web sites and blogs. I will comment on only a couple of issues.
Clinton's balanced budget came from closing military bases in the US and around the world. He had Osama bin Laden several times but he let him go because "he didn't know what to do with him." If he had tended to business (instead of chasing skirts), 9-11 probably wouldn't have happened, along with the first Trade Center bombing, the USS Cole disaster and more. He should have been thrown out of office as US morals went into the toilet with him in office. The recession began at the end of his term.
The worst president we ever had was Jimmy Carter. If you weren't working at that time, you haven't a clue. Thousands lost their jobs, my husband lost the best job he ever had, I.H. left Fort Wayne, and he couldn't find a steady job for three years. Carter's energy policy was rationing gas - gas lines were awful - that was the beginning of high oil and gas prices plus high federal taxes on them. Carter would make a wonderful neighbor, but as a president - no way. He was terrible.
Do you think we were in love with the Soviets in WWII? Roosevelt was in bed with the USSR in order to win the war, and so was England, etc. Oh, A.B., there are many Democrats who also loved Reagan. As for the rest of your so-called "facts" on our past presidents - easy also to blame them. Lip service. How about my lip service, no national healthcare, talk about a disaster. The fall of the housing market began with Bill Clinton, "A house for everyone, whether they can afford it or not." Liberals stopped all investigation of Fannie May and Freddie Mac when President Bush pushed for it. Obama has us in the middle of the most disastrous debt in out history. He has 20+ czars running around reporting to no one but him, which is illegal. And a pass for ACORN.
He is running around all over the world apologizing for what? All we've ever done is help these countries - they are laughing at us for his naivete.
Democrats, Republicans, Independents, etc. If you're sick of all this, join a 9-12 group and join a tea party. We must keep our constitution and Bill of Rights and Amendments as they are. Get rid of socialism and bring common sense back to the people. Government works for us - we do not work for government. If Obama gets his way, it will be massive government and we'll be cow-touring to the likes of him, Pelosi, and the rest of the socialists in Washington.
And, in closing, thanks to all our men and women who are out there in harms way - our US military - all branches - you are the best. We are praying for you every day.
