Richard “Rick” Bennett Luther, 60, South Whitley, died at 12:12 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 11, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
He was born on Oct. 14, 1962, in Noble County, to Peggy J. Middleton Hartman and Franklin W. Luther. On June 16, 1993, Rick married Cathy Lynn Overbey.
Rick’s life will be celebrated with a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 18 and officiated by Pastor Luther Bailey at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw. Friends and family may visit an hour prior to the service from 9 to 10 a.m. A graveside service will follow at South Whitley Cemetery in South Whitley.
Friends and family are invited for a funeral dinner at 12:30 p.m. after the graveside service on Monday, Sept. 18 at AmVets Post #2919, 234 S. State St., South Whitley.
Memorial donations may be directed to Cathy Luther, 105 W. Pine St., South Whitley, IN 46787 to go towards care for daily and medical expenses.
