NAPPANEE ­– Richard L. “Dick” Felts, 72, of Nappanee, died from a short illness at 3:35 p.m. May 16, 2013, in his residence. He was born May 18, 1940, in Nappanee, to Leroy and Virginia Heaton Felts. On April 25, 1964, in Nappanee, he married Zula Conley, who survives. A lifetime area resident, he retired from Holiday Rambler and Monaco Coach. He was in the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of Nappanee American Legion and Disabled American Veterans and a former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Also surviving are a son, Richard Glenn (and spouse Michelle) Felts, South Bend; a daughter, Tammy S. (and spouse Ron) Golden, Nappanee; four grandchildren; a sister, Thelma (and spouse Don) Rink, Nappanee; and a brother, Steven Felts, Murphy, N.C. He was preceded in death by a brother. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with Pastor Larry Pletcher officiating. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery with military graveside services.
