Richard E. ‘Dick’ Nabinger Richard E. “Dick” Nabinger, 76, of Leesburg, and formerly of Pierceton, passed away at 7:10 p.m. July 18, 2012, in his residence. He was born June 3, 1936, in Windsor, N.Y., to Leland E. and Beulah Beebe Nabinger. On April 3, 1976, he married Alice Walls, who survives. A Kosciusko County residence since 1965, he was self-employed and operated Mobile Farm Service, specializing in mechanical repair of farm implements and agricultural related machinery. In particular, he restored collectible machinery serving clients from all over the United States. He was an honorary member of the American Legion. Surviving are five daughters, Carol Bushaw, Barbara (and spouse Mike) Venett, Cathy (and spouse William) Madden and Jenni (and spouse Nick) Austin, all New York, and Deana (and spouse David) Phelps, Tennessee; four sons: Jeffery (and spouse Crystal) Nabinger, Florida; Leland (and spouse Penny) Nabinger, New York; and Dusty (and spouse Melissa) Nabinger and Trent (and spouse Nicole) Nabinger, all of Indiana; a brother; eight sisters; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Stephen Bushaw; a brother; a sister; and his parents. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Burial will be private.
