Editor, Times-Union: Mr. Ragan, you stated “the teachings of Jesus Christ were about love and hope, while the teachings of Islam were about hate, anger and violence.” Now I have just a few questions I must ask you.
Do you know the difference between Sunni and Shiite Muslims? Have you read the Qu’ran at all? Do you know anyone that follows the Islamic way of life? Basically, I’m just curious as to whether or not you know anything about the religion you preach against and are so persistent in stating how “evil” they are?
To me, you have on blinders. You need to take them off and realize that there are much bigger threats to Christianity than Muslim. Of course, I’m referring to zealots, not much unlike yourself. Which leads me to my last question ... What makes you better than a Muslim, and gives you the right to attack their religion?
