Now it appears they want to build an Islamic community center near Ground Zero. I understand and support religious freedom in our great country but think this is insensitive and disrespectful of the Muslims to build this so close to where we were attacked on 9-11. It's not religious tolerance ... it's a victory trophy pouring salt on a wound.
Many Americans died on 9/11 and do not feel building a Islamic center this close to ground zero does anything but stir up more anger and trouble.
There is enough anger in our country to make this Islamic religious center a target, which will continue to make more anger and trouble.
But Michael Bloomberg and President Obama fully support it ... our ancestors would have tar and feathered both of them and used appropriate turkey feathers doing it.
