Over 100 pregnancy resource center staff and volunteers representing 20 centers attended Right to Life of North Central Indiana’s 12th annual Pregnancy Resource Center Networking Day in Warsaw on Nov. 14, according to a news release from Right to Life.
The pregnancy centers attending serve locations around Indiana and southern Michigan. The full-day event included 15 professionally led workshops, including fundraising, adoption services, medical, fatherhood programming, engaging the Hispanic community, partnering with pastors and expanding services. The lunch keynote was given by Mike Spencer, founder and director of Project LifeVoice.
Right to Life Executive Director Dave Koontz said, “Right to Life realizes that while we can encourage women and their families to choose life, we don’t have the ability to provide the face-to-face personal support that both women and men need to choose life. The pregnancy centers provide that support daily. Networking Day is an opportunity for Right to Life to show our appreciation for the centers with a day that encourages and equips them in their ministries.”
The general response from the attendees, according to the release, was summarized by one person’s comment, “Thank you for all the work you put into this wonderful day! I am excited to take all of these ideas from the workshops back to my center."
Right to Life’s mission statement is “Serve, support, and strengthen our communities and local life-affirming organizations for the purpose of promoting the dignity and sanctity of human life through education, fundraising, outreach, and collaboration.”
