Looking toward the 2026 elections, Republican candidates for the four district Kosciusko County Council seats are having a reception Oct. 6 to meet the public.
Taking place at the Zimmer Biomet Center Lake Pavilion, 119 E. Canal St., Warsaw, the reception is scheduled for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The candidates are Dave Wolkins, incumbent, District 4; Tony Ciriello, incumbent and council president, District 3; Joe Irwin, incumbent, District 2; and Brad Jackson, District 1.
Irwin was appointed to the District 2 position earlier this year after the death of Councilman Mike Long.
Jackson retired in 2024 after 28 years as the northern district county commissioner. He is now seeking the council seat currently held by Kimberly Cates.
Hosting the event are District 3 U.S. Congressman Marlin Stutzman, District 2 U.S. Congressman Rudy Yakym, Attorney General Todd Rokita, state Sen. Ryan Mishler, state Rep. Craig Snow and Bishop Family Farms, according to provided information.
Open to all residents, hors d’oeuvres will be served.
