Raymond L. BurtRaymond L. Burt, 87, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. He was born on Dec. 1, 1938, to Louis and Jessie Hill Burt in Michigan. He was united in marriage on Dec. 9, 1961, to Jeanette Morgan in Hastings, Mich.

Raymond retired as a forklift driver for Frozen Food Specialties, Archbold, Ohio. He resided at Dewart Lake in Syracuse, as well as in Warsaw.  He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, driving his boat around the lake, and his animals.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette, Warsaw; daughters, Annett Gutierrez, Michigan City,

Lanett Lemaster of Warsaw; son, Robert Blankenship of the Philippine’s; daughters, Vickie (Blankenship) Reese and Rebecca (Blankenship) Ratterree both of Wasilla, Ark.; brother, Fred (spouse Mary) Burt. In addition, Raymond is survived by 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

The visitation hours will be on Wednesday, June 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.

His funeral service will be also be on Wednesday, June 19 at 1 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Mike Beezley officiating.
