Editor, Times-Union: First, my friend Lonnie Slone nailed it in his letter on Monday, March 14. I will add a little of my own thoughts. Freedom of speech (our first amendment) and our right to bear arms (our second amendment) are under attack in America. Christians are being murdered worldwide. Americans are not safe anywhere, in fact we are targets everywhere. Proven over the weekend was that terrorist Bill Ayres and his bunch are behind many of the protests and violence at the Trump rallies. It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure out who is behind it. I don’t think Trump could do any worse than the worthless Obama, but as Lonnie said, none of them running are ideal. I’d vote for Donald Duck before I will vote for Hillary, who left our SEALs to die and then lied to their families. Hillary’s e-mail situation has put our country in danger and has cost lives already. She turns my stomach. Bernie is a socialist who honeymooned in Russia and since his 40s he’s been nothing but a demonstrater, been in jail several times. Is this the best the liberals have? I guess so. I know who I’m voting for. I want to keep my freedom of speech. I want the right to bear arms, the most important of our amendments to the Constitution, and that’s why they are number one and two. I also want to address the letter pertaining to abortion. Ignorance ran rampant in that one. First, when a baby is conceived, it is a child. It is a person in its own right and should have the same rights as any individual to be born and grow and live. Since when does anyone have a right to murder a child, and call it what it is, folks, it’s murder. There are millions of couples who would love to have a baby. Adopting is the option. Orphanages are practically non-existant. Most of these aborted babies are 100 percent normal. I know couples who would love to have a child, normal or not. And lady, it is up to the woman to “just say no.” The videos are real where abortion clinics sell baby parts. Those videos were proven to be real. The people who were arrested were not arrested for fake videos, but for lying about who they were. Abortion clinics are slaughter houses and should all be defunded and closed. Women can get mammograms, birth control pills etc. at other free clinics who do not do abortions. This matter concerns every American whose tax money goes to fund women who murder their unborn children. So guess what, murder of children is everyone’s business. Have a nice day.
