Priscilla Sue Vance, 75, Warsaw, passed away at 1:15 p.m. Aug. 12, 2016, after an extended illness. She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her passing. She was born Nov. 11, 1940, to Erwin and Doris Vanderpool Stevens. On Feb. 3, 1962, in Warsaw, she married Everett Vance, who survives in Warsaw. A 1958 graduate of Leesburg High School, she was the valedictorian and a graduate of International Business College, Fort Wayne. She was secretary for Peter Eckrich & Sons, Fort Wayne, as well as a real estate agent for Center Realty, Warsaw. An avid reader, she loved reading murder mysteries and was a fan of Agatha Christie. She liked all kinds of animals, especially dogs. Above all, she was a loving, caring mother. Also surviving are two daughters, Teresa (and spouse John) Carpente and Stefanie Vance, both of Warsaw; three grandchildren: Jason (and spouse Ashley) Baker and Kylie Carpenter, both of Warsaw, and Jessica Baker, Pierceton; three great-grandchildren; three sisters: Sandra (and spouse Bill) Vanator, Berne; and Carolyn Robinson and Donna (and spouse Donald) Robinson, all of Warsaw; and a brother, Robert (and spouse Nora) Stevens, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her parents, Erwin and Doris Stevens; and a sister, Martha Fawley. Services will be at noon Wednesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor David Hummel officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
