President Jesus Christ

Too many political candidates win because they tell voters lies they want to believe. With that in mind, would Jesus Christ be elected president?
If you think Hillary and Trump have a lot of people against them, there would be millions of people against Jesus. He opposes abortion and would call it murder. He would lose the votes of those who support abortion. He would push religious expression in public, which would lose the votes of atheists and those who believe in separation of church and state, as if he had their votes anyways.
Muslims would oppose him because he would tell them to worship God and not Allah because he is the Son of God. Lawyers would oppose him because he can read minds, which would be invasion of privacy, and he would support the death penalty for those who are destined for hell. Doctors would oppose him because he can heal anyone which would reduce the need for doctors. Grocers would oppose him because he could feed millions of hungry people for free. Global-warming warners would oppose him because he could produce a perfect world climate.
Millions would complain that Jesus was too religious and acted superior to everyone, even though that would be the truth. Many rich people would oppose him because they would fear that he would demand that they give away “too much” of their money. Precious metals investors would oppose him because he could create enough silver and gold to back our currency, which would lower their worth. Homosexuals and transgenders would oppose him because he would condemn their behavior and laws that support them.
Powerful people in both major parties would oppose him because many of the ones they support would be opposed by Jesus. Due to name recognition, Jesus Christ would not need to campaign much or raise money. He could have an abundance of media coverage because who wouldn’t want to interview Jesus or have him on their programs?
Not all church members would support him. They wouldn’t admit it because no one would want to be known as someone  who voted against Jesus. If Jesus called Pharisees sons of Satan, imagine how he would feel about those that didn’t act like Christians privately or in public.
Then there’s the expected debates. His opponents would say he was a religious fanatic, and if he refused to do miracles, maybe he was lying about being the son of God. He would be considered judgemental and the practitioners of parlor tricks. Atheists and scientists would demand that he be executed again to see if he could rise from the dead again.
Satan tempted Jesus to become the ruler of the world provided he worshipped him. Jesus refused just like he would refuse to run for president; an office he might lose. We’ll have to wait for Jesus Christ to return to earth to rule the world for 1,000 years to know how things could have been.
