NORTH?MANCHESTER – The?Manchester Lady Squires continued their winning ways with a 195-221 win over Whitko on Thursday in a girls golf match at Sycamore Golf Club.
Kelsey Eichenauer medaled with a round of 42 for Manchester (5-0), while Madyson Ulrey shot a 48, Cora Barnett scored a 52, Alissa Bickerstaff registered a 53 and Morgan Stroud recorded a 58.
“We didn’t have our best team round tonight, but mentally I thought we battled pretty well,” said Manchester coach Josh?Troyer.
Whitko’s Bailey Wright shot a 53, Summer West had a 54, Gus Garr scored a 55 and Erin Starkweather registered a 59.
Tippecanoe Valley and North?Miami also competed, but didn’t have enough players for team scores.
Cheney Canada was the lone golfer for Valley, shooting a 73.
Ray Sisters Lead Warsaw Golf To Place Second
NAPPANEE – Four golfers shot in the 40s as Warsaw finished second in a three-team match Thursday at McCormick Creek Golf Course.
Warsaw (8-2, 2-1 Northern Lakes Conference) had a team score of 185, to NorthWood’s 167 and Goshen’s 239.
Madelyn?Ray shot a 43 for the Lady Tigers, while Izzy Ray carded a 46, Julia Hildebrand and Grayson Kilburn both shot 48s, and Miriam Hagg recorded a 50.
Warsaw’s JV team posted a score of 218.
Brunner Medals As Wawasee Golf Places 2nd
SYRACUSE – Belle Brunner co-medaled with a 41 as the Wawasee girls golf team finished second in a three-team match Thursday at Maxwelton Golf Club.
The Lady?Warriors (6-5, 1-3 Northern?Lakes Conference) shot a 194, to Concord’s 182 and Plymouth’s 204.
Brunner scored a 41 along with Concord’s Lauren Boessler.
Wawasee’s Jadison Rostochak and Lesley?Taygua shot 50s, while Taylor Cripe scored a 53 and Valerie Haessig scored a 60.
Wawasee lost the JV match 231-235.
Triton Cross Country Wins At Potawatomi
TIPPECANOE – The Triton boys cross country team won a three-team meet on Thursday at Potawatomi Wildlife Park.
Triton had a team score of 18, to Knox’s 40. North Judson had no team score.
Russell Reichard placed third in 20:04 for the Trojans, while Brandon Kitch was fourth (20:05), Josiah Page was sixth (21:07), Jesse Page was seventh (21:36) and Breighton Treesh was eighth (22:07).
Triton’s girls team had no team score, but Briana Wilhite finished third (24:48), Makenna May was fifth (25:51) and Annie Hill was eighth (27:29).
North Judson won the girls meet with a team score of 20.
Lady?Trojans Sweep County Rival Argos
ARGOS – Alyxa Viers had 10 digs and four aces in Triton volleyball’s 3-0 win Thursday at Argos.
Triton won 25-18, 25-17, 25-21.
Delanie Miller registered 15 assists, while Jaela Faulkner recorded 11 digs and Lexia Hostrawser had seven kills.
Triton won the JV match 25-4, 25-18.
Wawasee Lady?Warriors beat Bethany Christian
GOSHEN – Wawasee’s volleyball team won two close games to close out a 3-1 win on Thursday at Bethany Christian.
The Lady Warriors won 21-25, 25-16, 26-24, 26-24.
Wawasee’s Madison Simmons had eight kills and 20 digs, while Elizabeth Kleopfer tallied seven kills, 13 digs and 17 assists.
Brooke Heche registered 17 digs, while Janae Hapner had six kills for Wawasee (3-2).
Wawasee’s JV?team (7-2) lost 25-22, 24-25, 14-16.
Manchester Volleyball?Cruises To?Victory
NORTH?MANCHESTER?– It only took three games for Manchester volleyball to breeze to victory over North Miami at home Thursday.
The Lady Squires won 25-10, 25-20, 25-18.
Eva Bazzoni tallied 10 kills for Manchester (5-2, 2-0 Three Rivers Conference), while Kyrsten Eskright had nine kills and Anna Osborne registered seven kills.
Kendra Kline recorded 24 assists, while Emma West had eight digs.
Manchester’s JV team won 25-14, 20-25, 15-10.
Valley Volleyball Struggles In Loss
AKRON – The Tippecanoe Valley volleyball team lost 3-0 Thursday at Wabash.
Valley (2-3, 0-1 Three Rivers Conference) lost 25-17, 25-13, 25-20.
Valley’s JV team is 7-2.

Whitko (0-3) continued to deal with injuries as Gaff was removed from play after sustaining head injury with six minutes remaining.

The Warsaw Tiger tennis team earned a shutout Thursday at Elkhart Memorial.
Warsaw’s Caleb Williams won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, while Reuben Williams and Hayden Anderson earned sweeps at Nos. 2 and 3 singles, respectively.
