Pierceton Woman Killed In One-Car CrashA Pierceton woman was killed Friday morning after her car went off the road and hit a tree.
Hannah Lynn Rogers, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office as a result of injuries suffered in the one-vehicle crash.
According to a news release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred on CR 650E near South Barbee Drive.
KCSO deputies and emergency personnel responded at 8:17 a.m. to a reported personal injury crash on CR 650E near South Barbee Drive. Emergency personnel arrived on the scene and found a black Chevy passenger car had struck a large tree. Preliminary investigation determined the Chevy had been traveling southbound on CR 650E and, for an unknown reason, went off the east side of the road and hit a large tree, the release states.
Rogers was the driver of the Chevy.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Tippecanoe Township Fire Territory and the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Officer.
