SYRACUSE – Philip Daniel “Phil” Damewood, 37, Syracuse, died at 12:29 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 26, 2020, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne.
He was born on April 28, 1983, in Coolidge, Ariz., to William and Marcia Hourscht Damewood.
He was married on May 25, 2019, in Mexico to Karissa R. Auer, who survives.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3 at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse. Memorial services will follow at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8 in the funeral home with Pastor Sheldon Callahan of the Vineyard Community Church officiating. Family requests masks be worn for services.
