BELLEVIEW, Fla. – Philip Bruce Schlagenhauf, 85, died May 28, 2012, in his residence in Belleview, Fla.
He was born May 16, 1927, in Geneva, Ind. He is survived by Emma, his beloved wife of 52 years.
He was a member of First Methodist Church, Ocklawaha, Fla. He proudly served our country during World War II in the U.S. Navy.
Also surviving are his children: Doug (and spouse Margaret) Edgar; Fay (and spouse Dan) Schwartz; Philip (and spouse Linda) Schlagenhauf; Deenah (and spouse John) Givens and Alan (and spouse Lisa) Schlagenhauf; 26 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Pat Sprunger, Sue Fields and Victryne Armstrong; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sept. 1 at United Methodist Church, Geneva.
