Peter T. Holtz, 75, Warsaw, passed away at 12:36 p.m. Nov. 19, 2014, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. He was born June 18, 1939, in Alameda, Calif., to Edward Lest and Mary Lowden Turner Holtz. He worked for R.R. Donnelley as an accountant executive for many years. He left the Warsaw area, living in many other states. His favorite area was Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He then returned to the Warsaw area, living there for 20 years. He was of the Episcopal faith, and honored all faiths. He enjoyed walking, biking, traveling, art, gardening, reading and all types of music. He was a large charismatic man with quick wit, broad knowledge and an adventurous spirit. His loyalty to friends made him a beloved friend to many people. He is survived by his son, Scott Holtz, Skokie, Ill.; a sister, Gretchen Wagner; one grandson, Max; his companion, Dorothy “Dottie” Eads, Plymouth; and numerous friends. A celebration of his life will be at 3 p.m. Jan. 15, 2015, location pending. No services are planned.
