Recently, I read a book, "Three Cups of Tea" by Greg Mortenson, a mountain climber, living in Bozeman, Mont., who is promoting peace by building schools especially for girls in remote areas of Pakistan and also Afghanistan.After presenting a report on the book to my church women we are collecting pennies the month of October to give for the promotion of peace, economic development and prosperity in Pakistan and Afghanistan through Greg Mortenson's Central Asia Institute.
