Pearl Owen Anglin, 87, of 2908 Krista Lane, Winona Lake, died at 2:50 p.m. Nov. 4, 2007, in her residence, surrounded by her family.
She was born April 9, 1920, in Monoquet, to Thaddeus and Maude Randall Cummings. On Sept. 12, 1938, in Warsaw, she married the love of her life, Washington Don "Wop" Anglin, who died April 16, 1996.
A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, she was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, reading and her grandchildren. She was secretary of the family business, Anglin Signs at Vinegar Bend. Although bedfast for 20 years, she honored her family and friends with unfailing grace and good cheer. She was a member of Clunette United Methodist Church and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Glen (Janice Diane) Long, Warsaw, and Mrs. Richard L. (Kerry Owen) Kehoe, Winona Lake; a son, Happy Gene Anglin, Winona Lake; 12 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Kaye Don Anglin, and a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Lee Anglin.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Dick Kehoe officiating. Burial will be in Stoney Point Cemetery, Leesburg.
