SYRACUSE - Paul R. Caley Jr., 76, of Warsaw, died at 8:55 p.m. Nov. 16, 2008, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born Aug. 2, 1932, in Chicago, Ill., to Paul and Margaret L. Casey Caley. On July 27, 1964, he married Shirley Dishon, who survives.
He lived at Irish Lake since 1991, coming from Chicago. He was a police officer in Chicago and a member of North Webster American Legion Post 253 and Fraternal Order of Police, Chicago. He was a Korean War Army veteran.
Also surviving are a daughter, Deborah (and spouse Brian) Stack, Demotte; three grandchildren: Scott (and spouse Amy) Weliczko, Sandra (and spouse Kenny) Barnes and Jennifer (and spouse Timmy) Wotherspoon; and four great-grandchildren, Christopher, Haley, Synthia and Hannah. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Stanley Weliczko.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse, with military honors by members of North Webster American Legion.
