Paul Eugene Gibson, age 61, of Claypool, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 3:06 p.m. in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
Paul was born April 27, 1959, in Warsaw, to Richard and Athne Slone Gibson. He was united in marriage to Rosemary Honeycutt Sexton on Aug. 31, 1997, in Claypool.
Paul was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. He was formerly employed by Dalton Foundry, Zimmer Biomet and G.I. Polishing. He was a member of the NRA and USCCA.
Paul is survived by his wife of 23 years, Rosemary Gibson, Claypool; children: Kristie Smith, Minneapolis, Minn.; Steven (Rebeccah) Sexton, South Whitley; grandchildren: Miranda Sutton, Julian, Gabrielle, Ashton and Ezekiel Sexton; and his dogs, Buddy and Dolly.
He was preceded in death by both parents and brother, Joe Richard Hammon.
A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, July 22 with a funeral service following immediately at noon at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Brother Tim Slone will be officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
