Patsy Ruth Ousley, 80, Claypool, passed away at 8:30 a.m. March 22, 2015, in Warsaw Meadows Care Center.
She was born Oct. 5, 1934, in Floyd County, Ky., to Albert and Anna Jane Stephens Hall. On June 27, 1950, in Floyd County, she married Curtis Ousley, who survives.
She moved to Kosciusko County from Floyd County in 1961. She was a full-time homemaker, who enjoyed making dresses, raising large gardens including a flower garden, canning vegetables, crafts and cooking. She also loved reading her Bible and southern gospel music. She held tight to her faith. She loved being a mom and wife. She attended The Pentecostal Lighthouse Church, Warsaw.
Also surviving are a daughter, Deborah (and spouse Terry) Kreft, Claypool; two sons, Troy (and spouse Janet) and Curtis Jr. (and spouse Linda) Ousley, both of Claypool; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Mary Jane England, Josephine Fields and Geneva Stephens. She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters: Edith Collins, Mable Prater, Bessie Wallen, Eva Kaye Hall and Ethel Hall; and two brothers, Elbert and Bobby Hall.
Services will be at noon Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with the Rev. Don Gibson officiating. Burial is in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at the funeral chapel.
