MARION - Patrick E. Foreman, 79, of Pierceton, died Dec. 29, 2007, following a battle with cancer.
He was born March 17, 1928, in Marion, to Virgil B. and Geneva H. Hawkins Foreman. He married Margaret Joan Hodge, who preceded him in death. He married Joan Cahill, who survives.
He moved to Orland Park, Ill., and after relinquishing two successful businesses, he moved to Pierceton. He pursued many careers including farming, pastoring, truck driving, business owner and technician.
Also surviving are nine children: Steve (and spouse Jana) Foreman, Frankfort, Ill.; Gary (and spouse Mona) Foreman, Taylorville, Ill.; Dennis Foreman, Tinley Park, Ill.; Vicki (and spouse Ned) O'Farrell, Chicago, Ill.; Patrick (and spouse Elisabeth) Foreman Jr., Plainfield, Ill.; Kurt (and spouse Kimberly) Mulrenin and Karen (and spouse Andreas) Schill, both of Port Orange, Fla.; Maureen (and spouse Fred) Grabs, Joliet, Ill.; and Catherine (and spouse Hector) Rodriguez, Lockport, Ill.; two sisters, Jean Bradford, Marion, and Sandra (and spouse Pete) Slater, Hartford City; 29 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two children, a sister and a brother.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Needham-Storey-Wampner, North Chapel, Marion. Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion.
