NORTH WEBSTER – Patricia A. “Pat” Hayes, 61, North Webster, passed away March 13, 2015, at her residence. She was born Dec. 29, 1953, in Marion, to David Warren and Almira Brock Davis. On Aug. 28, 1993, in Goshen, she married John R. “Rocky” Hayes, who preceded her in death June 19, 2011. She grew up in Jonesboro, graduated in 1973 from Mississinewa High School in Gas City, and attended Indiana University in Kokomo. She moved to the North Webster area in 1990 from Marion. She formerly was employed at Homecrest Cabinets in Goshen for 20 years. She was raised in the Methodist Church, and attended the Sunday morning services on Lake Webster. She loved Christmas and enjoyed decorating. Summer was her favorite season; her flower gardens were beautiful and some of her favorite times were spent on Webster Lake. She was the life of every party, and made friends wherever she went. Surviving are two sisters, Suzi (and spouse Ernie) Brown, Marion, and Kathy (and spouse Warren) Collins, Grand Haven, Mich.; a brother, John (and spouse Claudia) Davis, Fishers; Ken Knepshield, the man she had planned to spend her life with, Sweetser; eight nieces; several great-nieces and nephews; and her belove dog, Miley. She also was preceded in death by her parents and dog, Max.
