Pam Tebow To Keynote Lakeland Christian Fundraiser

Posted
Lakeland Christian Academy will host Pam Tebow, the mother of Tim Tebow and an inspirational speaker, on May 10 at the Wagon Wheel Theatre.

This is a fundraiser for LCA to help meet its 2017-18 budget since tuition does not nearly cover all of its expenses.

The daughter of an Army colonel, Pam lived all over the world until she entered the University of Florida. She graduated with honors in journalism and communication. She met her husband, Bob, while in college.

The Tebows have five children, including outspoken Christian Heisman Trophy winner, NFL football player, ESPN commentator and professional baseball player Tim Tebow.

The Tebows lived for a number of years as missionaries in the Philippines, where Bob continues to have an ongoing ministry in addition to an orphanage. The Tebows also have ongoing ministries in several semi-closed Asian countries, where they encourage their national partners, speak at conferences, and support orphanages, Bible schools, and a safe house they founded for rescued girls.

Pam loves speaking for various events including the National Pro-life March in Washington 2018. Her notoriety increased when ESPN aired a portion of an interview with Pam that focused on her refusal to abort Tim when she was advised to do so. Since then she has been given a national platform to encourage the pro-life message.

In 2010, Pam and Tim were in a Super Bowl commercial that celebrated family and life, which resulted in 5.5 million people "having cause to rethink their stand on abortion,” according to information provided by LCA. She has also appeared on “Good Morning America” and won national awards, including Eagle Forum's Woman of the Year and Witness in the Public Square in 2012, Commission for Women "Inspiring Woman of the Year in 2013 and Extraordinary Woman of the Year in 2014.

Pam is also passionate about encouraging women to trust the Lord with all their hearts for all their lives and to use the incredible influence God has given them to eternally impact their world, the information provided states.

Tickets will go on sale through the Wagon Wheel box office on Tuesday. LCA wants to sell all 846 tickets. Order tickets through the Wagon Wheel box office at 574-267-8041 or online at www.wagonwheelcenter.org.

Two types of tickets will be available.
