ROYAL CENTER – Call it pay-back of a sort.

The Triton boys basketball team won 48-37 Friday at Pioneer in a Hoosier North Athletic Conference game.

The Trojans bounced back from being outscored in the second quarter with a 17-8 third, and held on to a double-digit lead in the fourth for the victory.

Ashton Oviedo hit three three-pointers and finished with a game-high 15 points for Triton, while Pioneer (0-1, 0-1 HNAC) was led by Haden Krintz’s 11 points.

The Trojans won 38-29 in the JV game, and were led by Hunter McIntyre’s nine points.
