Editor, Times-Union: Just a short response to the John Routh letter of July 7. I have read tons of newspapers and watched news reports galore, and personally I haven’t heard or read any report that the Orlando massacre was the worst in history. But ALL of them have stated that it was the worst since 9/11 in the U.S. As was the murder of five police officers in Dallas, Texas, the most loss of life of law enforcement since 9/11. The attack on 9/11 in NYC was the worst since Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. Letters written by Rick Badman and Paul Fribley on 7/7 were well-written, factual and much appreciated by me.
