Olive M. Bufton, 94, of 600 N. Colfax Apt. 216, Warsaw, died at 5:35 p.m. June 28, 2008, in Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake.
She was born May 4, 1914, in Blackwater, Mo., to Henry and Pearl Steenburg Jones. On July 6, 1932, in DeKalb, Ill., she married John Bufton, who died in 1979.
Living in Warsaw since 1976, she was a clerical worker at Westclox Corp., Peru, Ill., for 21 years, and was a member of First Baptist Church, Oglesby, Ill.
Surviving are a son, Bill Bufton, Warsaw; a daughter, Gerry Winterfildt, Frankfort, Ill.; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son and four brothers.
A private graveside service will be at 11 a.m. (CST) Tuesday at Forest Lawn Cemetery, La Salle, Ill.
No calling is planned.
