Oil & Politics

Editor, Times-Union:

On the news the other night they had a report of the cost of crude oil going down. They stated that it would take up to two months for that to affect the price at the pump for us foolish Americans. When the price of crude oil was going up, did it take two months for the price at the pump to go up? They raised the price the same day as the rise in the price of crude oil.

The price of cruse oil has dropped $21 a barrel and the cost at the pump is a paltry 7 or 8 cents a gallon. Who is watching the big oil companies? Is it our elected Senators or House of Representatives? I don't think so. The oil companies have them in their back pocket as they do nothing to stop this.

Have a good day!
