Editor, Times-Union: After reading Mike Wack’s letter concerning the satirical cartoon on Tuesday’s opinion page, I retrieved my paper and checked it myself.
He is right. This is offensive on several levels. Pedophiles can come from any background including educators and Protestant clergy. Anyone abusing their position of authority over a child in this horrific way leaves sane people with a feeling of disgust and frustration. Parody of such a subject is inappropriate.
