Editor, Times-Union: Better wake up, America. We’ve got a president who makes F.D.R. look like a piker.
F.D.R. decided to pack the Supreme Court with his own people to get his own way. Our current president takes a different slant on things. Although he has put two people on the court he just tells them they can not legally rule against his Obamacare law. Several federal judges have taken issue with his thinking.
Going to be a long wait until June to see if the Supreme Court knuckles under to his threats or decides to do their duty and call it for what it is, an overbearing piece of legislation. I realize a lot of people were not even born when F.D.R. pulled his deal. Look it up, it’s fact.
