North Webster Woman Arrested After Allegedly Threatening Couple

A North Webster woman wanted by police since November is in custody to face allegations that she broke into a house and threatened to shoot two people in the head.
Amanda Marie Daler, 38, of 507 W. Huntington St., North Webster, and also showing an address on jail booking paperwork of Mishawaka, was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail at 1:11 p.m. Tuesday and faces two Level 6 felony charges for intimidation and residential entry.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed Nov. 20 in Kosciusko Superior Court II, on Nov. 3 North Webster police responded to a residence in reference to intimidation.
Upon arrival, police spoke with a man and a woman who said they were in bed when Daler came into the house without permission and told them to get up and that she was going to shoot them both in the head then set the house on fire.
According to court papers, police located Daler in the back area of the house going through items. Daler told police she believes the residence is hers due to the death of her mother, according to the affidavit.
