SYRACUSE – A little bit of Hawaii has come to Indiana.
North Shore Brewing Company celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday in downtown Syracuse.
Owners Adam and Kim Prezbindowski are passionate about crafting high-quality, flavorful beers. Their journey began in a small garage, where they experimented with different ingredients and brewing techniques to create unique beers that quickly gained a following.
Kim grew up in Hawaii, while Adam grew up in Noblesville and has family in the Syracuse area.
“We are a small brewery. We make and serve our own beer,” Adam said.
Opening the brewery fulfills a longtime dream for the couple, who moved to Indiana from Las Vegas. Both have experience as brewers and are beer enthusiasts.
From selecting premium hops to fermenting beer at precise temperatures, the couple takes pride in every step of the brewing process. Their commitment to quality is reflected in each batch they produce.
The brewery currently offers two signature beers: Papaya Pale Ale and Watermelon Sugar High, the latter of which Adam Prezbindowski has won awards for. European-style beers also are available.
In addition to traditional beers, North Shore Brewing Company serves gluten-free beer, a reserve collection of meads and house-made vinegar drinks.
Wine lovers can enjoy six varieties of Tippy Creek Winery wines, available by the glass, along with hard seltzers.
Yearly Mug Club memberships range from $100 to $500. Those interested can email “I want to become a Mug Club member” along with their name and birthday to aloha@northshorebrewing.beer.
The brewery also offers Hawaiian-inspired food, including Spam fried rice, macaroni salad and a variety of Hawaiian island-style bar bites designed to complement its beverages.
North Shore Brewing Company is located at 105 W. Main St., Syracuse.
