ROCHESTER – Norma Braden, 73, of 1843 Sunset Lane, Rochester, died at 10 p.m. Nov. 7, 2011, in Life Care Center, Rochester.

She was born June 5, 1938, in Peru, to John Chester and Mabel Bailey Young. On Sept. 25, 1955, in Peru, she married Paul J. Braden Jr., who died May 18, 2006.

She was a member of Eagles, American Legion and the Moose Auxiliary, all of Rochester, and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Logansport.

Surviving are four daughters: Debra (and spouse Danny) Bookmiller and Vickie Soupley, all of Logansport, and Diane and Sandy Braden, both of Nappanee; a son, Rick Braden, Rochester; two brothers, Richard Nilson, Twelve Mile, and Steve Olinger, Peoria, Ill.; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester. Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery.

Calling is one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
