No Time For Silence

"The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot." Proverbs 10:7.

They will never be forgotten - not for the good that they brought to this world, but because they were emissaries of death and destruction. Adolph Hitler exterminated 6 million innocent Jews in his death camps; Joseph Stalin in his forced collectivization, the Gulag, and the Great Purge, murdered 12 million of his own people; Mao Tse-tung in the Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution murdered 40 million of the Chinese people; Pol Pot had one out of seven Cambodians slaughtered in the "killing fields," totaling more than 2 million deaths.

These tyrants are guilty of murder - not because they personally pulled the trigger - but because the decisions they made sent millions to their deaths.

Added to that infamous list should be the names: Warren Burger, William Douglas, William Brennan, Potter Stewart, Thurgood Marshall, Harry Blackmun and Lewis Franklin Powell. These seven men, sitting in a room that bears the Ten Commandments, legalized the murder of the pre-born, and in doing so violated the sixth commandment. It may be said of these men what the prophet Zephaniah said of Jerusalem: "Her judges are evening wolves; they gnaw not the bones till the morrow."

While it may seem radical to some to include the names of American judges with those of mass murderers, they have earned this legacy by the sheer number of their victims. It was their decision that, in 35 short years, has sent more 50 million innocent pre-born children to their deaths. Included with them should be the names of every doctor who has worked so diligently at exterminating life, and the soulless politicians who fight to keep this modern holocaust alive. Their names are etched together in eternal infamy written in the blood of innocent children.

These men were appointed by Republican and Democrat presidents alike. I will not vote for any man or woman, regardless of their party affiliation, that is not openly opposed to legalized abortion. With the elections upon us, we had better decide quickly that our pro-life position is non-negotiable.

There can be no middle ground between the holy and the profane.

May God have mercy on the preachers who have grown conspicuously silent on the plight of the pre-born. While tiptoeing through the tithers, fearful of offending those who contribute to their salary, they prove themselves to be nothing more than hirelings. Many have been duped into believing that they should remain silent on all issues political, but this is not just a political issue - it is both moral and spiritual. We should never fear the consequences of truth.

This is no time to almost say something. We must be the voice for those who have no voice. Four times in the Gospels John the Baptist was called "the voice of one crying in the wilderness." God is looking for voices today - people of conviction who will stand up and speak out on the issues that effect the moral fiber of our nation. There may be times when silence is golden, but not this time - not this issue. To remain silent while children are being exterminated is just plain yellow.
