No Subsidies
Editor, Times-Union:
It is apparent to me that the Collins person either rejects my answers, or does not read what I write fully because she would see that I have answered every question she has ever asked.  Let this be a lesson to everyone to read everything.  You claim that you do not follow mainstream media.  I hate to disappoint you, but everything in existence is mainstream or corporate media—however you want to label it.  From Fox News to MSNBC and from mediamatters.org to Rush Limbaugh, all we are exposed to is mainstream media. Nothing can be taken at face value any more. Normally I would suggest Youtube, but a lot of times, it is just amateurs posting news videos from what they see on television. So I guess I cannot give you any evidence of unions attacking Tea Party members, because you did not witness it, so therefore, it cannot be true.
Yes I said President Obama was a Progressive.  Yes I know that the CEO of GE is a part of Obama’s administration. But that is how Progressives think. Progressives appoint people to a job regardless if the person is competent.  There were just as many unqualified people in the George W. Bush administration. Progressives think that they can run this country better than the concept of, “We the People.”  Progressivism is not just about the transference of wealth. It is an idea that the government can do a better job of running people’s lives and the input of the people they supposedly represent does not matter. Collins wants to transfer wealth from the rich to the poor.  I have some questions that I doubt I will get an answer from. One, what benefit would it be for anyone to work on the guarantee of free money from the government?  Second, do you think that some of the more famous names calling for the transference of wealth: i.e. Michael Moore, Sean Penn, Whoopi Goldberg, George Soros, Andy Stern, etc. have actually a bigger check to the U.S. Treasury to give to the poor?  I would guess not. Since you are for transferring wealth, you either have too much, in that case, give me some, or you do not have enough and you do not want to work for your share.
If President Obama really bailed out auto companies, why is it the UAW got the largest share of the bailout money? You want to know why the auto companies moved production to Mexico. They moved it to prevent greedy union bosses from getting a cut of the auto industry’s profits. Collins is upset over a Congressman getting an agriculture subsidy, but you are for the welfare checks to keep going out to people who are not interested in working. I am for ending all subsides — welfare, agriculture aid, foreign aid. I am also for removing all of our troops from overseas bases and putting them on our borders.  You want to spend money we do not have. I want to save it!
