ETNA GREEN – No one was hurt in Thursday evening's house fire in Etna Green.

Etna Green firefighters responded to 9189 W. CR 450N shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday and found the home fully engulfed.

Etna Green Fire Chief Randy Byrer said the cause of the fire is undetermined but believed to be accidental, starting in the home's laundry room.

Byrer said the woman who lived at the home was out in the barn and heard the dogs barking so she looked out and saw flames coming from the house.

According to county records, the home is owned by Stanley and Loretta Miller. Byrer said the home is a total loss.

Firefighters left the scene at 10 p.m. Thursday, including those who came with a full assist from Atwood and Bourbon fire departments.
