NIPSCO will close the bridge on Husky Trail to all traffic beginning on Monday, Feb. 16 to connect a gas main that is currently terminated on either side of the bridge following the recent bridge replacement project.
The bridge and roadway are expected to be closed for approximately 2.5 weeks.
After this work is complete, the road will be temporarily patched with concrete. A NIPSCO contractor will return in the spring to resurface the work area after asphalt plants have reopened, according to information provided by the city of Warsaw.
Residents are encouraged to plan additional travel time and alternate routes during this closure.
