FORT WAYNE – All nine Parkview Health hospitals in Indiana were recently recognized by Practice Greenhealth for their ongoing efforts to promote environmental sustainability in health care, according to a release from Parkview.
Parkview Noble Hospital was recognized with the Partner for Change Award, while Parkview DeKalb Hospital, Parkview Hospital Randallia, Parkview Huntington Hospital, Parkview Kosciusko Hospital, Parkview LaGrange Hospital, Parkview Regional Medical Center, Parkview Wabash Hospital and Parkview Whitley Hospital were awarded the Partner Recognition.
The Greenhealth Partner for Change Award recognizes performance in environmental sustainability, covering a range of different sustainability programs and activities. The Partner Recognition Award recognizes facilities that have a commitment to environmental improvements and have achieved progress in several areas of the organization.
