NORTH WEBSTER – Nina L. Jacobs, 85, North Webster, passed away at 1:27 p.m. Dec. 25, 2015, at her home. She was born April 29, 1930, in Alexandria, to Ferrbee and Ollie M. Hollingsworth Cunningham. On April 7, 1949, in Alexandria, she married John W. Jack Jacobs, who preceded her in death July 9, 2015. She graduated in 1948 from Alexandria High School and attended Ball State University, Muncie. She retired in 1978 from Dr. Rohn Dental Office in Yorktown as a certified dental assistant after 16 years. She moved to the North Webster area from Alexandria permanently in 1983 after spending summers in North Webster since 1967. She was a member of North Webster Church of God, former member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 253, North Webster, and former member and president of the Dental Assistants Association. Surviving are a daughter, Rhonda (and spouse Danny Anderson) Jacobs, Nashville, Ind.; two sons, John C. (and spouse Diane) Jacobs, Alexandria, and Douglas W. (and spouse Peggy) Jacobs, Noblesville; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Rose Cunningham and Harriett Stansberry; and seven brothers: Basil Ferdie, Charles, Harold Tune, James, Daniel and Marion Cunningham. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of God, 300 N. Main St., North Webster, with Pastor Jeff Boyer of the church officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw. Burial will take place at the Parkview Cemetery, Alexandria.
