Will someone please give Nancy Pelosi a Valium and save one for me?
The visual picture that I carry in my head of Pelosi, in her designer suit, pole vaulting over a fence while dragging health care behind her is terrifying.
This woman is the poster girl for far-left-wing arrogance and elitism. She, along with Harry Reid, stands for everything Americans detest in government. She exhibits, almost daily, her revulsion for the core of this country, its people. In her world, we are the astroturf of life, the stupid millions who only deserve to be ignored or insulted.
When recently asked if the health care bill was constitutional, her response was, "Are you serious?". Yes, Nancy, those of us who respect the Constitution and understand the limits it imposes on government's intrusive powers, are totally serious. This woman is an abuser of power, of her office, and of the people.
She's waited a long time to run amuck, having total freedom to bully and threaten members of Congress into submission. She stands for nothing of substance. But she's a champion in her lack of principles, conscience and honesty. She is consistent in exhibiting erratic behavior and an unhinged thought process. Her ego is fed by power. Her agenda is total control with the ultimate goal of the perfect nanny government. She is a perfect example of what Lord Acton had in mind when he wrote, "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."
