Kosciusko County Health Department - Health First Kosciusko invites the public to join them to celebrate National Walking Day by slipping on your comfy tennis shoes and walking around Kosciusko County.
Start at Winona Lake Limitless Park, 11 to 11:30 a.m., and walk from the park to the Boathouse and back to the park. The 1-mile walk should take about 20 minutes.
Or at Beyer Farm Trail, start in front of the Health Services Pavilion, 12:30 to 1 p.m., and walk from the pavilion to the Firemen's Building by Pike Lake and back to the pavilion. The 1.4-mile walk should take about 30 minutes.
A third option starts at Central Park in front of the Zimmer Biomet Center Lake Pavilion, 2 to 2:30 p.m., and goes from the pavilion to the Kosciusko County Courthouse and back to the ZB Pavilion. The 0.8-mile walk should take about 20 minutes.
