Nappanee Man Facing Child Porn ChargesELKHART COUNTY – A Nappanee man is facing possession of child pornography charges after a yearlong investigation by state police.
Esteban Robert Perez, 20, of 151 S. Williams St., Nappanee, was booked in the Elkhart County Jail at 4:10 p.m. Monday and charged with five counts of possession of child pornography as Level 5 felonies and four counts of possession of child pornography as Level 6 felonies.
On Monday, detectives with the Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Perez after a nearly yearlong investigation after a tip was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
That tip ultimately led police to Perez’s Williams Street Nappanee home.
