NORTH WEBSTER - Naaman E. Van Meter, 38, of Larwill, died at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 14, 2011, in Goshen General Hospital.
He was born Aug. 31, 1972, in Warsaw, to Thomas E. and Judy E. Carey Van Meter, who survive in Larwill.
He attended Central Noble Public Schools and was a lifetime Kosciusko/Noble County area resident. He was a member of North Webster Church of God. He participated in Special Olympics, Magical Meadows and was the inspiration for Forte Residential Inc.
Also surviving are five sisters: Hope (and spouse Matt) Lightner, Fort Collins, Colo; Rebekah (and spouse Ben) Eisner, Cedarburg, Wis.; Elanna (and spouse Eric) Moeller and Larissa (and spouse Will) Phillips, all of Noblesville; and Christine Van Meter, Denver, Colo.; a brother, Ryan Van Meter, Steamboat Springs, Colo.; and grandparents, Larry (and spouse Hulleta) Carey, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at North Webster Church of God with Pastor Dennis Judy officiating. Private burial will be at Salem Cemetery, Wilmot.
Calling is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
